About Novella Project…….

Novella may be a “novice” as a singer, but certainly not in the music field, where she worked for many years creating and producing eclectic music programs on national radio ,in close contact with many of the world’s top jazz musicians .

Perhaps this project is best defined as an “ambient jazz” album, where class, and a great sense of style mingle with futuristic sounds , to create a innovative backdrop for Novella’s uniquely fresh and sexy voice.

The result is no doubt, very original and rich with emotion.

The choice of producer Luigi Colarullo has led to a very alternative way of interpretating these beautiful melodies, and the result is far from the traditional orchestrated versions we have become accustomed to hearing..

The CD also contains some remix versions which are radically different from the originals,and which have been rhythmically and harmonically re-arranged to create truly surprising results.

Here ,vocally Novella heads out in totally different directions , mixing the past and the future with great style and sophistication.
